Scaling Textures

I'm actually starting to get the hang of how to make a track now; thanks to the help I've been getting from you guys! I now have a working road :) I have also created the ground on the inside and outside of the track, but ran into a problem when applying textures.. The textures are simply scaled to small:

Hi guys. Wanted to ask - is there any way to get road coordinates from Racer tracks? Like x,y and z coordinates in numbers. The idea is to get those numbers into Excel or MATLAB or smth and plot them to get the track graph. It may sound weird, but I kinda need to do this for my project. And yeah, may be there is some way to do this in Bob's Track Builder?

Hi guys. Question about Carlswood cones. I need to know the cone geometry parameters, ideally radius. Is there a file of some sort where this information is located? Or maybe someone know the radius and can tell me? Thanks

Spline; lateral divisions and compound banking

I've noticed the lateraly subdivided spline in the latest version of Racer.
Is it possible to let this spline follow a compound banked corner?
I'm thinking of a Nascar oval style corner wich start on the left with 6 degrees banking and ends with 18 degrees on the right side of the track.
I thought these bowl shape corners would be nice on a racetrack as it provides multiple racing lines.

So, is it possible?
Does anyone know how?

random questions

I've got some random questions related to a test-track:
1. What is exact polygonlimit for a single object/material?
I'm able to cut these objects into 2 part to avoid the limit, but it would be helpfull to know the exact poly-limit.

2. I'm playing with a rallytrack, but the tracklogic ain't working, correctly:
The race starts, but the timer doesn't stop after crossing the finishline. Do I miss a finish-definition or something like that ?

Track scripting examples?

I'm wondering if anyone has any track script examples floating around?

I've been playing with trigger lines a bit and doing things like reverb for tunnels and near trees etc which is really cool. It's amazing how much depth can be added with some well placed ambient samples and reverbs running etc.

However certain things I'd like to be set from the start, like a default reverb set so you don't have to hit a trigger line to set it going.

I've no idea how to either get a triggerline to run...

I will post pics as I get time to do it, this will be the codemasters f12010, now I know how you feel about conversions of "official" 3d models I wont be releasing here, however if anyone wants it, it, i'm sure we can work something out.

I just realized that I'm just too busy to finish it, but since I think it has some potential, I'm releasing it here for any other modder to complete.

I would like to create a track in Racer with 3dsmax.

here are questions :
How must I name textures or objects to get collisions ?
Where can I get documentation for track preparation in 3dsmax for perfect integration in Racer ?
Where can I get documentation to learn how to use last TrackEd version ? (Lidar, etc...)
Is it possible to get a .max track exemple for investigate about material names, objects names, etc?

Bonjour all...

Following on from my old Highway build a few years ago (Still unfinished...) I've started a new track!

I'm sure everyone is familiar with the Osaka Loop/ Hanshin Line / "Kanjo Loop" By now. I want to re-create that atmosphere of the Midnight run darting between traffic, Hazards flashing...

This track was/ is intended for Assetto Corsa, But fortunately, i only know how to get tracks into good old Racer. So, lucky for you, Racer will be my test bed before someone no-doubt...
